Design In Motion 2010
Moving image is becoming a much greater part of our day-to-day visual vocabulary, and at eskimo, we find ourselves working much more in this field, particularly with regards to fashion and film.
DIM was a chance to bring together members of the graphic and design community (and other like-minded souls!), to bask in the city night lights, settle in and watch a curated, playful selection of work that aimed to inspire, provoke thought and create discussion around the theme of design on screen.
Through this event, we hope to highlight the often-overlooked element that makes up part of moving image, such as film titles, music videos and moving identities. We also screened the Sydney premiere of documentary Typeface, a Kartemquin film directed by Justine Nagan.

Design In Motion 2011


YWYA
Yen magazine is a fusion of fashion, culture and happenings aimed at the young and cutting-edge. As part of its brand extension, the publication came to us to create its identity and catalogue for their new venture, the ‘Young Woman Of The Year Award’. Incorporating the YWYA amalgam into a crown, our design captured the ‘winning’ aspect in a fun, youthful manner.

The Sydney Italian Festival
The Sydney Italian Festival is an annual event, one that gathers the Italian community and other like-minded souls together every August to celebrate all things Italian. To bring a fresh, modern image to the festival, we designed its new identity and created a stylish, identifiably visual language through illustrations that brought together iconic aspects of Italy and Sydney. Our new identity and illustrations were seen across banners, catalogue, website and bus signage.
